Subject: [southbaybirds] April 28 BIOBLITZ at Almaden Quicksilver
Hi folks,

SCVAS had a great day out with POST and Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful
yesterday at Almaden Quicksilver Mickingbird Hill Entrance as part of
iNaturalist's City Nature Challenge. ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS, DARK-EYED
JUNCOS, AND BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHERS built an amazing sounds cape, while the
Hacienda trail gave our bioblitz team great views of RED-TAILED HAWKS and
TURKEY VULTURES.

You can check out the full report of the organism we found (including some
beautiful wild flowers!) here:
https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?project_id=200555

Have a great day, and happy birding!
