Subject: [southbaybirds] Nesting Western Bluebirds
I believe I have a pair of Western Bluebirds feeding young in my olive tree in Los Gatos. What is newsworthy about this is that until we had some large conifers come down in our front yard this winter I had not seen a bluebird within 1.5 miles of my house. After the trees came down, the bluebirds appeared with a couple of days and have stayed.

It doesn’t take much for Mother Nature to take advantage
