I just counted 78 Swainson's Hawks in a field 2 miles south of Corsica, South Dakota, which is in Douglas county. I have never seen so many in one group. It was really amazing! They seemed tired as I saw a few run after prey and grab them. They were evenly spaced out throughout the two fields. I got some photos and one video.
