Walked on the east side of the Shepaug River in Steep Rock Preserve off River Road in Washington Depot, CT this morning. Heard three Louisiana Waterthrush along the river. Heard and saw four Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers. Noted just one Y-R Warbler. Note that the bridge over Shepaug River on River Road is still closed so access to the Steep Rock Preserve on the east side of Shepaug River is only from Spring Hill Rd off RT 199 (Roxbury Rd).
