Between traveling and the recent challenging weather here, needed to start getting caught up with migration. Started at Jerry Smith Park where Blue-headed Vireo, Indigo Bunting, Yellow-breasted Chat, Grasshopper Sparrow and numerous Sedge Wrens were FOY birds.
Then headed to NW Cass County to check on the Bald Eagle nest I monitor for MDC. A vigilant adult was watching over 2 good-sized young. While watching the nest I added Lark Sparrow, Bell’s Vireo and Gray Catbird. Just love this time of year!
