Official Counter: David Gordon

Observers:

Visitors:
None

Weather:
Count period began and ended with steady rain. The hawks flew through the
middle part that had extended breaks from rain. Strong winds began from
the SSE and later shifted to the S.

Raptor Observations:
A slow but steady flight of raptors came during the breaks in the
rainfall.

Non-raptor Observations:
A Fish Crow was heard. Several mixed flocks of blackbirds flew through the
count area. The local seasonal residents were busy feeding on the grassy
areas while a pair of local Merlins watched from a perch in a nearby tree.

Predictions:
A SW wind should be helpful tomorrow but rain in the forecast could keep
the flow of hawks to a similar low level as today.
