Subject: [ia-bird] Fish Crow in Delaware co.
Today, while watching my son wading a creek at Backbone S.P. , I was
shocked to hear what I recognized to be a FISH CROW. It just seemingly came
out of nowhere, and was chasing a Juv. B. Eagle. It was very agitated and
giving its nasal "caw" repeatedly. I watched it for about a minute or so
before it gave up the chase and disappeared towards the Maquoketa River. I
have seen and heard many in Florida, but this quite a surprise!
