Subject: FOS Swainson's Hawk, Manhattan
Walking part of the Linear Trail in south Manhattan this morning, I saw a half a dozen Turkey Vultures circling low over the trees working on gaining altitude. Something looked off about them, and when I looked with binoculars, two of the six turned out to be Swainson's Hawk. The mixed group seemed perfectly ok with one another's company as they circled higher and higher.

Other FOS today included Least Flycatcher, and both Warbling and Yellow-throated Vireo. Merlin indicated it heard Yellow Warbler, but I neither saw nor heard this species. I fully expected to see Wood Ducks along Wildcat Creek, but instead saw a pair of Blue-winged Teal.
