Decided to count Broad Winged Hawks from my back yard today. First bird appeared around 11:35. After that it was all single birds until 2 appeared together and then single birds again until late in the afternoon 4 appeared together . The climax were 2 birds together at 4:45. Total count was 17. Not a great flight but it was persistent. Also 2 Cooper’s Hawks.
