Glorious day today at Merchant’s Mill Pond State Park. Went canoeing and walking. Her’s a list of FOS birds (FOS for me at least)

Plus two eagles on the nest visible from canoe—have been watching this same nest for 10 years and it’s massive—-10-12’ deep
Plus an alligator on log. 7-9’
Plus on way home two more Anhinga in area of Dismal Swamp NWR that parallels US 158.
