Raptor Observations: Epic eagle day! 64 bald eagles smashing the old record of 48. Merlin caught swallow in mid-air and flew down into the woods to eat.
Non-raptor Observations: First big warbler flight of the season with 14 species of warblers: Tennessee, Nashville, chestnut-sided, magnolia, 48 Cape May, black-throated blue, black-throated green, blackburnian, bay-breasted, blackpoll, black-and-white, Canada, hooded, and prairie warblers, red-headed woodpecker, yellow-throated vireo, least flycatcher, wood thrush, indigo bunting, rose-breasted grosbeak, scarlet tanager, 61 ruby-throated hummingbirds
