Subject: Sunday at Hi Lonesome
It was very birdy at Hi Lonesome yesterday, and it was a pretty beautiful
morning. Lots of Red-winged Blackbirds, Dickcissels, and Common
Yellowthroats. It was nice to continue to hear Henslow's Sparrows, Purple
Martins, Indigo Buntings, and Bell's Vireos.
I was particularly delighted to hear the Upland Sandpipers that continue to
be found at the corner of Lumpee and Hi Lonesome.
This was the first month this year to hear the Sedge Wrens. Complete list
is on eBird.
Everything is lush and green, and the wildflowers are beautiful.

Happy Birding!!
