*At 11:21, I spotted a large buteo on the N side of the ridge and quickly got in the scope. I was pleasantly surprised to find a RLHA instead of a RTHA in view. A light morph, it l**ooked like an adult and probably a female.** It wasn't too far or high up and gave me a nice look as it drifted SW along the ridge. This isn't the latest spring record for a RLHA at Tussey, but it is still pretty late.*
