Subject: [BostonBirds] 3/9 Black Guillemots Atlantic Rd. (Back Shore) Gloucester
No luck on the Thick-billed Murre at the Jodrey Fish Pier. However, many good birds were there. I then walked the entire length of the Back Shore (Atlantic Rd.) via Good Harbor Beach. I got my target guillemots there.

Common Loon 4 fish pier
Brant 9 flyover
Black Scoter 6
White-winged Scoter 7
Surf Scoter 10
Common Goldeneye
Red-breasted Merganser
Bufflehead
Mallard Duck
American Black Duck
Long-tailed Duck 5 Back Shore
Common Eider 100
Cooper's Hawk 1 fish pier flyby; dramatic
Bald Eagle 1 adult fish pier flyover
Black Guillemot 5 annual here in this spot; one Moorland Rd.; others a bit further south; some very close
Fish Crow 9 constantly within ear shot or visual; F.O.Y.
Common Grackle 30
Red-winged Blackbird 6
