Presumably in migration, I counted over 100 floating down the Housatonic
River out of sight round the bend - then large numbers flew back up river very low over the fast-flowing water, landing approximately where the Tundra swans were, before heading south again. The third up-stream troupe is now heading past as I write, 80 or so. None appear to be feeding, just chillin’. Hard to suggest an accurate count!
