Subject: [Ohio-birds] Waterfowl - great numbers
I figure I will be searching for uncommon to rare waterfowl in March. As I edit trip pics.
Although I did hit Caesar Creek in Warren county for the Iceland gull. I got there plenty
Early! No success. It either left before 7:05 or I failed to pick it up when the main gull
Group left the beach. Sigh….. there’s nice numbers of waterfowl staging in that area.
For example - 440 redheads at the furnas boat ramp! I like numbers. I came home via
Lake Barber in Hamilton county. Nothing new for my big year…… I had plans to bird most
Of Wed, but the weather looks grim…… oh well, I do have a lot of catching up to do around
Here!

I am told I didn’t miss any rarities while away. Let’s see what March brings! I did have an
Early greater yellowlegs at the beach at Caesar creek.

Good birding all.
