All of the Colorado Christmas Bird Count results are in, and Colorado finished with 212 bird species on count day, plus two count week only species (White-winged Scoter and White-tailed Ptarmigan). There were over 900,000 birds counted on the 50+ Colorado Christmas Bird Counts this past winter. Thanks to all the compilers and participants and feeder watchers who helped this past winter. There were a lot of surprises on Colorado Christmas Bird Counts this past winter, shorebirds and warblers, and a lot of other things that normally aren't in Colorado during the winter.
