The trip to the Fort Edward Grasslands area has been rescheduled to SUNDAY Jan 18. The forecast is now calling for rain showers and up to 3" of snow - sub-optimal birding conditions, for sure. At present I have 8 people signed up so there is still room for a few more birders. Short-eared Owls have been hunting reliably for several weeks.
Also, the Blackhouse Rd lot is reported to be a sheet of ice, so the meetup location has been changed to Hudson Crossing which is 10 minutes away. Pull into the first lot on the left.
