It has come to my attention that perhaps some people with Gmail accounts did not receive the renewal emails sent in December. Memberships are on a calendar year, so most expired on January 1. Please go to https://iowabirds.org/ and login. Your status should be shown in "My Account". There is a button near the top of the home page to Join or Renew.
We appreciate everyone taking care of this soon so we can get the next Iowa Bird Life published. The editor has some great content coming up this year such as research on Cerulean Warblers in NE Iowa, a photo essay on shorebirds, meet Iowa birders and ornithological graduate students, updates to birding hotspots, poetry, and more. As those of you who receive the hard copy of Iowa Bird Life know, last year we printed in full color and have been pleased with the results. This cost is only sustainable however with a healthy membership, so please get your renewals and new memberships done soon.
