Connecticut bird photographers are invited to share their work on the Connecticut Bird Pix Flickr page (https://www.flickr.com/groups/connecticutbirdpix/) and all birders are welcome to view and comment on the photos. There are over 4500 pictures and always some great ones of rarities and common birds by top photographers and casual photogs alike. Great way to refresh your ID skills.
It’s free (unless you want to join Flickr Pro) and easy to use. Here’s the simple rules:
Please submit only your own photos taken in Connecticut of wild birds and bird habitat, birding activity, and bird research and conservation. No captive birds (except from banding operations) or pets please. Members are encouraged to comment on photos, but please keep any criticism constructive. Members are encouraged to include metadata; at a minimum, the photographer's name and the date and location of the photograph must be provided. Members are encouraged to use the Group to request identification assistance and photography advice.
