Audubon will be updating its CBC data interface next year and the CBC team
wants involvement from CBC volunteers, take below-linked survey

Audubon’s Christmas Bird Count (CBC) is evolving, and we want *your voice* at
the table as we modernize the program for the next generation of birders
and community scientists.
*We're inviting CBC volunteers to join advisory groups* that will help
shape everything from new digital tools to volunteer training resources to
how we build inclusive, welcoming count communities.
*Why your perspective matters:*
Whether you're new to CBC or a longtime participant, whether you're
tech-savvy or prefer paper datasheets, whether you count in urban parks or
remote wilderness—your experience matters. We need diverse voices to ensure
CBC modernization works for everyone.
*Two ways to get involved:*
*Community Advisory Group: *Help co-design improvements to the CBC
volunteer experience, including recruitment strategies, training resources,
communication approaches, and the new Community Engagement Leader role.
Meets monthly (2-hour virtual sessions) from January-December 2026.
*Product Testing Group: *Test and provide feedback on new digital tools
like the circle finder, registration system, mobile data submission, and
results portal. Participate in regular testing sessions and help us build
tools that actually work for real users (starting spring 2026).

We'll review all responses and contact selected participants by
