Amongst the different types of feeders we have: cylindrical, barrel type, caged, moving perches that dump larger birds, I think the best overall is a large one called the Absolute. It seems to attract the most birds from Cardinals and little guys like titmouses, And excludes grackles and squirrels if you set the weight right. Susanne (Susie) Shrader West Hartford
