We made a brief visit today at the south side of Bear Butte Lake . Sightings included a few Gray Partridges, and on the lakea pod of Lesser Scaup plus one FOS *Trumpeter Swan*.
At our feeders 1.5 miles south of Whitewood American Goldfinch returned on 11/14 and we still have lots of fall residents. The Sharp-shinned Hawk was by again on 11/5. Cedar Waxwings have been totally absent on our field trips, but we had a flock of about 20 stop here briefly on 11/15/25.
