Palm Warbler (Setophaga palmarum) (1)
- Reported Nov 01, 2025 15:00 by Kayla Michael
- Morro Bay SP--Marina/Boardwalk Trail, San Luis Obispo, California
- Map: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=p&z=13&<q...>,-120.8418006&<ll...>,-120.8418006 - Checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S282434338 - Comments: "Here along the boardwalk among the scrubs and grasses nearby and also landing on the boardwalk nearby letting us have some excellent views of the bird. There was a birdwatching couple here at the sametime who got some excellent photos of the bird. See his report when he posts his report. The bird was seen near 5pm or so and quite abit of fog in the area at the time.
The bird was a brownish type of warbler species. The bird had a definite but pale rufous to brownish crown, a nice light colored eyebrow stripe which was easy to see, a light colored breast with some faint streaking, and yellow beneath the rump and tail area, yellow underail coverts. But this yellow coloration was not above the tail like in the Yellow-rumped Warblers nearby."
