- Comments: "1st-cycle. Entirely pale Gull similar to (pure) GWGU but wings slightly thinner, underside of con coloro us pale primaries with faint dark tips, primaries with faint trace of brown outer webs, faint pale window in inner primaries, essentially pale secondaries, underparts brownish ground color, paler contrasting (with underparts) undertail and undertail coverts and head which is faintly streaked, overall fiercer look than GWGU with more AHGU-like head shape, and Herring-like bill with pale base (not expected in pure GWGU at this time of year). The pale bill base may/may not be obvious in the photos unfortunately. Photos"

Merlin picked up vocalizations of the sparrow in several other locations, but I’m only counting the three that I saw."

- Comments: "Appeared to be a first-year as it wasn’t yet a dark slate grey. The hood went down far on the chest, the back and head was grey, as were its flanks. But there were hints of brown, which makes me think cismontanus, though could simply be a young slate-colored. Associating with junco flock in eucs along fence north of entrance to paved loop, and then again amid cypress trees to the east on north side of road from mid-dock area. Mediocre photos"

- Comments: "Single adult female in with mixed blackbird flock at Beef Evaluation Unit. Slightly larger than all other species around. Very dark overall but not as black as other species around. Black eye mask with yellow brows, yellow collar, face, and neck, bright yellow/orangish chest. Crown dark but not black above prominent yellow brows."

Fairly cooperative HY male in Pacific Madrones and nearby flowering trees in SW corner of park. Bright orange Oriole with only slightly paler (and still orange) lower belly/vent, slight dusky olive wash to head, bright white double wingbars lacking “teeth”, upper wing at slightly tinged buff, back dusky olive brown color, and slightly dark throat. Still in same general location when we left. Pics"

- Comments: "Male observed actively feeding on a variety of insects in oaks along campground road behind campsite 88 in midst of 30+ warbler flock comprised primarily of Yellow-rumped Warblers with a few Orange-crowned and Townsend's Warblers mixed in. This bird was striking with bold black and white striping on back, black wing bars, white median crown stripe bordered by black lateral crown stripes, white supericilium, white eye-arcs, black lores and ariculars, black streaks on throat, black streaking from upper breast to flanks, white belly and black patterned spotting on undertail."

- Comments: "Continuing since 11/4/25 (Bob McKay). --- Actively foraging in the eucalyptus trees across from the gazebo, toward the end of the tree-lined path, that parallels the fence and connects the lakeside trail head with the northern trailhead.
Lime-green head, nape and back; back with black streaks; white throat and belly; white undertail with black outer edges; yellow wash on the breast; salmon-colored lower flanks; black wings with two bold white wingbars; yellow-green face; white eye arcs; dark line through the eye; pointed black-tipped bill with dark upper mandible and pinkish lower mandible; dark gray legs and feet."

- Comments: "Continuing. This is my third sighting of this bird: Nov. 5, 8, 9. Today I wandered into a bird group led by W. Knowlton. He said, “Help us find the bird,” and so I luckily found it foraging in eucs along the barbed fence, which runs north from paved loop entrance.
