Hello Birders: Every day is different, but I tried to study the movement of the Bay breasted Warbler yesterday, ( Sunday, Nov 9 ), in the 3 hours I was there. While the general directions are great; ( along the Eucalyptus grove at the end of the Laguna Park road in SLO,heading north on foot ), I noticed that every 20-30 minutes the bird came into the small Juniper, ( I think- species wise ), that was about 80% along the Euc. tree line, heading, once again in a northerly direction This may be only important to those trying to get an eye level look, or photo op of the bird, without enduring the usual ongoing " warbler neck " associated with tracking down warbler species. Interesting that the bird would come down to that level, but, undoubtedly, because there were food opportunities in this bush/tree. Cheers, Thor
