The first Junco was on my patio yesterday morning. A few minutes ago I saw it again, along with a Cedar Waxwing.
Just about the time I think maybe I should clean up the flowerbed a little, I see all the White-throated sparrows, Finches, Cardinals, etc picking at the seeds and insects they harbor. The messier the habitat the more they like it.
An oddball visitor this morning was a lone cowbird. The Bluejays were not willing to share.
