Birders,

Edana Salisbury refound the Gilman Park Olive-backed Pipit this afternoon. Following an anxious 20-30 minutes, the Pipit settled into a routine that allowed the assembled group satisfying views and many photo opps. It stayed in view until dark. It was last heard calling as it appeared to fly high into the tall trees btw the cul de sac end of Treeview, and the creek below. Hopefully it will spend the night there.

The 30+ assembled birders and scattered dog walkers all cooperated, allowing the pipit to forage undisturbed under trees across the lawn, opposite the first bridge.

Good luck to all chasing tomorrow.
