The Northern Hills Bird Club conducted a field trip led by Jen Adams from Sundance to Keyhole Dam, birding Keyhole Dam, and return to Sundance via US 14. Very good weather with temps reaching 73 degrees, but quite windy all day. Highlights of the day included 3 Common Loons, American White Pelican, Double-crested Cormorant, several Western Grebes, American Robins, Cedar Waxwing, FOS Northern Shrike, Townsend's Solitaire, Horned Larks, and Red Crossbills. Raptors included Northern Harrier, Red-tail and Ferruginous Hawk, Bald and Golden Eagles, and American Kestrels. Lots of Ringed-billed Gulls.
