Hi folks,
I am available to take people in to try to see the kingbird tomorrow
(Friday, 10/24), at 9am and again in the afternoon (2pm is my earliest
availability). If it sticks, I may also be free for a while on Saturday
morning.
We'll meet at the Bufferlands office north of Laguna Blvd in Elk Grove and
then caravan to the site. There were some mosquitoes around today, though
the kingbird appeared to be eating wasps and/or bees. It was actively
foraging this sunny day at 1230 and again after 3.
Let me know if you're interested and I'll send detailed directions.
Roadwork is blocking the customary approach to the office.
