Subject: [sd-birds] Common Raven west of Custer |
On Tuesday October 21, BH Raptor Center volunteer Cody Ficken saw a Common Raven with a group of Am Crows feeding on a dead deer.
The location was on Highway 16, west of Hwy 385, and somewhat close to Big Pine Rd.
Cody was not aware that ravens have nested in Hell Canyon the past couple summers. He was extra excited with that news!
