Around noon time today our bird bath/fountain became a local attraction for a few bird species. First arrived a group of 12 Bushtits, all crowding and splashing together in the moving water. They were followed by a male Townsend's Warbler, a pair of Orange-crowns and a pair of Yellow-rumps. A Ruby-crowned Kinglet visited to bathe and soon joined by an Anna's Hummingbird. White-crowned and Golden-crowned and a Black Phoebe also stopped by during bath time for a drink. Indeed a busy few minutes at the fountain.
The main attraction was a lovely little Virginia's Warbler, definitely a treat to see for this location. The last VAWA seen in our yard was September, 23, 2021.
