Weather: Overcast to partly cloudy for majority of the day with high cloud ceiling. Light southwest winds didn't disrupt thermal lift.
Raptor Observations: American goshawk moved through the Kempton valley in the morning, a late juvenile broad-winged hawk competed with four golden eagles for raptor of the day runner up.
Non-raptor Observations: Pine siskin, purple finch, red-breasted nuthatch, tree swallow, winter wren, ruby-crowned kinglet, golden-crowned kinglet, cedar waxwing, Palm warbler, yellow-rumped warbler, chipping sparrow
