Hi all,
This morning I went to Sunnyvale WPCP to search for the American Bittern reported yesterday. I found it foraging out in the open in the area of mowed marsh on the west side of the landfill, the same place it was seen yesterday (37.42057° N, 122.02333° W). I then birded around the WPCP and eventually found an Aleutian Cackling Goose foraging with a flock of Canadas on the south slope of the landfill (37.41883° N, 122.02062° W).
