I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Ecuador and Napo specifically. I’ve never felt at risk or in danger.
Traveling to new places always comes with some risk. And so does waking up in the morning.
I think normal/usual travel precautions are sufficient. I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to take that trip.
We are all different and have different tolerances risk. I’d take my family there in a heart beat. And they have very different tolerances the do I.
Feel free to call anytime. I have friends that live there and could give up to the day assessments if that would be helpful.
