Subject: [BostonBirds] 10/16 American Bittern in Fenway, etc.
I saw a bird I flying over the Fenway Victory Gardens last evening that I thought might be an American Bittern. It turned out to be just that!

Yellow-bellied Sapsucker 2 ad. male and a female

Golden-crowned Kinglet 3
Hermit Thrush 2 in gardens
warbler sp. 1
Dark-eyed Junco 50 incl. flock of thirty near children's playground near Boylston St. Bridge
White-throated Sparrow 35
Song Sparrow 10
Swamp Sparrow 1
Chipping Sparrow 1
