Strong NW/NNW winds brought in 123 Sharp-shinned and 102 Cooper's Hawks. Falcons were seen mostly during the afternoon and included 39 American Kestrel and 24 Merlin. There was a significant morning flight of Blue Jays, American Robins, House Finch and Purple Finch. Full reports on HawkCount and eBird.
Tomorrow afternoon's winds will be even stronger than those of today. There should still be hawks in the pipeline.
