Wow! Todd’s fork nature preserve - Clinton a cardinal land conservancy
Property. I wish I had known about it sooner! Fantastic place of some
Fields, woods, a pond with marsh edges! And my favorite habitat in the fall -
Early successional - I think that’s the term.
Picked up three year birds - winter wren, sapsucker, and orange crowned
Warbler. Up to 184 for the year and 199 life! Sapsucker and the oc being new
For Clinton.
The best gull spot in Clinton right now is Caesar creek - young rd. Alas
Nothing different. No Franklins! Which comes up common in ebird!? Good.
Since I am not a good picture taker! I do try if something comes up rare!
Slow when I got to Warren spots. Afternoon. Highlight was that weedy field
With the new ponds that were created. Near the observation tower. No shorebirds….
But a Bobolink! Year! Up to 177 for the big year there. Nothing new for life today.
A cloudy day. I was hoping for more sun. Maybe next week!
Good birding all.
