Subject: Re: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] eBird Hot spots for the week starting Wednesday October 15 - Tuesday October 21 [CORRECTED LIST]
Oops! Unfortunately, I mixed up my files and sent out the wrong list. I'm
so sorry!

The count of single bar weeks should have been a clue. In the *real* list
for next week there are more than just one week with one bar left - there
are actually *ten* weeks with only one bar needed!

I've updated the map linked previously. For convenience, here is the map
link again:
https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=14pUQkZb_9xbGvzZsKseipb0sotEfrfI&usp=sharing

And here's the correct list:

Walker Preserve Trail--Riverford Rd to Channel Rd - 1
Pottery Canyon Natural Park
Sycamore Canyon County Preserve--Hwy 67 entrance
Los Peñasquitos Ranch House
Mission Trails Regional Park--Barker Way Trailhead
Sweetwater County Park--Quarry Trail
E 2nd St. & D Ave. - 1
Otay Lakes County Park
Glorietta Bay Park - 1
Henshaw Scenic Vista
San Luis Rey River Park--Bonsall area
La Jolla Natural Park (not LJ Cove)
North El Portal Seawatch
Lower Otay Reservoir--east arm pullouts (including North Pt.)
Little La Jolla Canyon
Otay Valley Regional Park--LeMay Pond to 805 - 1
Fletcher Cove Beach Park - 1
Kitchen Creek Rd.--Cibbets Flat Campground area - 1
Cuyamaca Rancho SP--Cuyamaca Peak & Lookout Rd.
Borrego Springs--Mesquite Bosque
Barnett Ranch Preserve
Lower Otay Reservoir--north arm - 1
Kitchen Creek Rd.--south gate
Otay River Restoration - 1
Ocean St. overlook
Navajo Canyon Open Space - 1
Santa Ysabel Mission
Sun Gold Point
San Diego NWR--Proctor Valley
Black's Beach - 1
Lake Sutherland

P.S. the list I sent out originally is a preview of the *following* week's
list

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://bvaudubon.org/birding-resources/ .
