Subject: [Ohio-birds] Clinton and Hamilton musings
I hit east fork riparian in Clinton on Monday. It was its usual birdy self! Although
No sapsucker, Lincoln’s, or Palm. Sigh…..I ran into the Early's later at Cowan
Lake. We talked birds! He suggested another hotspot that I don’t believe I have
Hit yet. Todd's fork nature preserve. Wed! I have all day. I'll spend half in Clinton,
Half in Warren. I am missing sooooo much……

Today - Tues, I only had the afternoon free. I would have run up to either Clinton
Or Warren if anything around sticking to chase. No. All the shorebirds reports
Are flybys. Etc. I hope I get more shorebirds next year in Hamilton County……
I am a bit perturbed by the bulldozing I saw at Armleder this afternoon. The bean field.
A good spring shorebird spot! I texted a friend. He said they did the same thing
Last year. 🍀🍀

I can’t go two years in a row without shorebirds!

Ode notes - The Russet-tipped Clubtails are flying at Armleder. The canoe
Launch area.

Good birding all.
