Migrants are trickling in. An effort by the Middle School canyon and central sections Friday turned up 2 Bullocks Orioles, 2 Black-headed Grosbeaks, a Western Tanager, a Yellow Warbler, a few Western Flycatcher, and a White-tailed Kite. Today w/ the McLaren crew (Ben Dudek and Kevin Liberg) we added a rare for the park Western Kingbird (spotted alighting on a blackberry patch by Ben), more Yellows, a Warbling Vireo, a Western-wood Pewee, and a Kestrel.
