Subject: Mercer County migration
I had a nice warbler fallout this morning at Shenango Wildlife Area
Propagation ponds with Blackburnian, Cape May, Blackpoll, Yellow, Northern
Waterthrush, Tennessee, Magnolia, American Redstart, Bay-breasted,
Yellow-rumped, Nashville...

There were two Red-headed Woodpeckers being very vocal.

A Merlin was chasing many shorebirds including
Spotted, Solitary, Baird's, Pectoral, Semipalmated, & Least Sandpipers;
Semipalmated Plovers; Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs; and Wilson's Snipe.

At least 350 Double-crested Cormorants flew over.

Happy fall migration,
