Subject: [CT Birds] Q?: id'ing White Ibis in Stratford?
Question:  at the Access Road ponds, in Stratford, one of the spots where the White Ibis has been seen ...
I saw today a brief flyover of an Ibis, with what seemed a white streak along the underwing, and what seemed to be generally lighter underneath.
From what I can see, other possible Ibis would clearly be dark underneath.
Is a white stripe (I think with dark border) sufficiently diagnostic for White Ibis there?
    Thanks!  Arthur Shippee, Hamden
