Subject: [Ohio-birds] Fernald - Hamilton county
The walk to areas not open to the public. We had some killer looks
at an adult Blackburnian. Either a winter adult male or an adult female. Nice
To see that colorful throat! Chestnut sided were all the first year females.
Redstarts. A female black and white. I missed the bay breasted. And a
Canada! Sigh….. my Hamilton jinx bird…..

I wonder if this rb nuthatch invasion will mean other winter finches also?

Shorebirds are starting to appear in the county. Lodge pond at Fernald is getting
Mud. Peeps, a lone Semipalm Plover. Etc. I was told that Lost Bridge at the river
Had some shorebirds! Yea. I didn’t have time to stop there today. Maybe Sunday
Afternoon.

Good birding all.
