- Comments: "Continuing bird right where previously reported. Dunlin-like Calidris though slightly larger with longer yellow legs (lower legs mostly underwater), bill with continuous "Dunlin" droop but longer, strong white supercilium, dirty streaked breast and head, and dark cleanly "scaled" back with clean white margins. White rump in flight. Presumed juveniles. See pics."

- Comments: "Mid-sized shorebirds were larger than nearby Red-necked Phalarope and showed scaly back, large head with heavy, mid-length, slightly drooping bill, darker brown crown cap with white supercilium, brown streaking on neck and upper breast, spotting on sides and flanks and long greenish legs. Observed feeding in west pond nearest South Bay Blvd."

Scaly gray above (no reddish in the scaps like Western and no brown cast like Least). White below. Stubby straight bill. I managed some probably identifiable photos. Everything was scared up by a Peregrine and was lost."
