Hey Folks,
The State of New York is planning to to restore the channels the previously divided Schodack Island into 3 distinct islands. They are currently conducting a study along the proposed routes and are looking for citizen scientists to help them with point counts of resident bird species that may be displaced or disturbed.
Specifically, they are looking for volunteers who are willing to periodically occupy the established counting locations and identify and count the species located within a fixed radial distance of each station.
