Weather: The morning began cloudless with a sunny sky and minimal wind. Cloud cover moved in by late morning as a stronger WNW wind picked up and lasted into the afternoon hours, High of 73 F
Raptor Observations: Once the late morning winds picked up, migrant raptors began to pass along the ridge. Ospreys were already quite high in the atmosphere and stayed there for much of the morning, while some Broad-winged Hawks traveled low across the ridge into the westerly headwind
