Kite is back at Annett at 12:23 and again at 12:35. Soaring over treeline to north of nature center parking lot.

I went down and spent a couple of hours searching for it Thursday morning but didn't see it anywhere. Tyler Harms was also there for a short time before heading on for DNR work at Chariton. I later talked to 2 other people there who did not see it yesterday. But then last night Tyler told me that he stopped to check the site again on his way home in the afternoon and did see it soaring at a distance to the West.

Just wondering if the Swallow-tailed Kite was seen yesterday Thursday August 21? For that matter, was anyone out looking for it and failed to find it?
We happen to be coming down to Des Moines area for Friday PM and Saturday AM so would appreciate any update on the Swallow-tailed Kite.
