Subject: [SFBirds] Local Interest at Fort Mason and Presidio - Kingbirds and others
On six of the past eight days, there have been between 1 and 3 WESTERN KINGBIRDS at Fort Mason.  Yesterday, there were three, today there were two. In addition there were two Kingbirds at Crissy Lagoon this morning. In general migration has been slowly picking up at Fort Mason.  Last Sunday, on the GGBA walk, we had (in addition to the Kingbird), an ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER, 2 WESTERN TANAGERS and 2 HOODED ORIOLES. On Monday, migrants at Fort Mason included a YELLOW WARBLER, a WILSON'S WARBLER, a WESTERN TANAGER, a BULLOCK'S ORIOLE and a WESTERN WOOD-PEWEE. This morning, Fort Mason had an OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER, 4 HOODED ORIOLES, a WILSON'S WARBLER, a YELLOW WARBLER, a WESTERN FLYCATCHER and a RUFOUS/ALLEN'S HUMMINGBIRD. El Polin Springs this morning had a WESTERN FLYCATCHER, a SWAINSON'S THRUSH, a HOODED ORIOLE, 2 BULLOCK'S ORIOLES, an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, a YELLOW WARBLER, a BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER, 6 WILSON'S WARBLERS and a male WESTERN TANAGER with orange on its head.
