Hi All,
It's been a slow past few weeks on the Outer Point with the August fogs really limiting visibility and activity. The past few days, however, have finally shown a nice influx of western migrants. Below is a summary of some of the migrants the last few days.

Monday, August 18th

Fish Docks:
Northern House Wren
Bullock's Oriole (immature at the hedge)

New Willows:
Cassin's Vireo

Nunes Ranch:
Lark Sparrow

Mendoza Ranch:
Black-headed Grosbeak

Tuesday, August 19th
Lesser Goldfinch and Northern House Wren were at almost every site on the point

Lighthouse:
1-2 Townsend's Warbler
Yellow Warbler
Cedar Waxwing
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Rufous Hummingbird

Fish Docks:
I didn't have time to fully cover but others had Lazuli Bunting, Willow Flycatcher etc.

Drake's Beach:
Yellow Warbler
MacGillivray's Warbler
Willow Flycatcher
Green-winged Teal
Warbling Vireo
White-tailed Kite
Red-shouldered Hawk

Nothing rare yet, but nice to finally have a wave of the expected migrants out on the point.

Good Birding,
Connor Cochrane
